When walking in a rainstorm, if you accept you will get wet, it ceases to be a problem and instead becomes a living poem for you to be in.

Almost on cue during the summer months of the High Sierra afternoon, storms build from moisture in the west rising over the crest and condensing in the high cold air. This turbulent air creates huge thunderstorms that unleash torrents of rain. Lasting only an hour or so it’s a beautiful time to be photographing, watching and getting wet as the tonalities shift and undulate.
