The sunrise is just beginning to crest the eastern walls. I’ve been up for a long time. The waters stillness is only matched by the air which has settled from the cool of the night. I wander the edge of the lakes, the reflections are mirror perfect. Skirting out onto a small peninsula I frame the scene looking south.
I want to set this feeling inside. Bank it for the months to come. I suppose that’s what these images can also do, at least for me personally. For you, they may mean something else entirely.
A lone raven caws in the distance, echoing in that way their calls do.
