The use of time in landscape photography is as important as light and composition. Time is movement and quiet contemplation, both are powerful tools to emphasize mystery and emotion. A rock in a river is as normal an occurrence as any, but slow the process down, isolate it from that normalcy and it’ll create something more than itself, it’ll create beauty.
