Fun Fact: This image was a turning point for me in understanding smaller subjects. Everything at this scale works on micro adjustments; move a little and the subject changes. I first shot this from the other side with the light behind me, but it was too flat. Moving around to the other side, with light illuminating from behind, a simple leaf glows with complex structure.
