A small desert storm was moving in. A light rain began falling. Looking down canyon all is silence, not even the sound of the river below. The soft scent of wet sagebrush and ozone. These delicate moments when shooting are intoxicating. There’s a stillness in all this. A repudiation of time and speed, replaced with an acknowledgement of something deeper. A watchful peace and maybe a frame captured.
