To observe is to be patient. It is more than mere waiting, it is an active patience. Ready but unhurried. When the light or the clouds, or both, form in a way that brings your subject to life, capture it. Sometimes I come upon a scene ready to be photographed, others times it’s a wait. Regardless, I’m relaxed and open to whatever it is that comes. Calm patience my dear friend.
