Scientific Name: Eschscholzia californica

Fun Fact: California poppy fields have a particular smell that is unlike any field I’ve ever been in. It’s an inviting aroma, a warm welcome. Although these are not the same poppies as in the Wizard of Oz, I can see how they failed to make it across that field and all fell asleep.
